RESILIENCE & PERSISTENCE
I am SO DARN PROUD of you all!!
You are putting yourself out there!! You are inviting people to join you in this journey of HEALTHIER living. It's uncomfortable, you are a little unsure, and honestly you may not be too convinced that this is “actually going to work for you.”
You know what, let me give you permission to admit that to yourself -BUT- fully TRUST me here when I tell you that SUCCESS IS YOURS if you CHOOSE it.
Say it with me….. “WHY NOT ME?!”
Again…. I am asking you to do the CRAZY thing here… to TRUST me when I say that YOU ARE CUT OUT FOR THIS!
You have what it takes to HELP lead others into HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, more FULFILLING lives! And by doing that, YOUR life is going to reflect ALL of those things as well -- but you HAVE to trust me!
Alright so here are some KEY concepts to REMEMBER as you are inviting to a Challenge Group:
1. You must DETACH yourself from the outcome.
{Remember: a waiter is NOT offended when you say “No” to the coffee}
Do not take a “no thanks” personally -- it’s not you. They will be WATCHING you from NOW ON & more than likely will come BACK to you once they see you stick to your program & Shakeology!
2. You must keep inviting. You can assume that for every 30 people you invite to a challenge group - you will receive 3 {THREE} YES or MAYBEs. That is normal!
As a new coach - you are only working with CURRENT month prospects. As you continue on month to month you will begin working with current month prospects {PLUS} last month’s “maybe’s” or “I have to save up” customers! It BUILDS!
3. When you are having conversations with people & they are interested in joining a Challenge Group but just DON’T have the money right now - add their name to a list!! Keep TRACK of these people! I like to use ASANA. It can be used on a computer and you can download the app. If you are interested in using this program, Let me know and I will show you a video that teaches you how
Let them know…. “No problem!! I completely understand!! You know what, I host a Challenge Group every single month. I’d love for you to join us next month or when you are able to save up for your Challenge Pack! Would it be ok with you if I check in with you in a few weeks to see if you want a spot in my next group?”
They will appreciate the fact that you care enough to follow up with them! Put an alert in your calendar & invite them to the next group -- they basically asked you to!
{Remember --- all of these MAYBE’s now have EYES on your Facebook like a HAWK ---> so Walk the Walk!}
4. General RULES of Follow Up: Be sure to end your convo with OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS so they have something to answer. If they do not respond, give them a day or two and then follow up.
Simply say something like, “Hey Nicole!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I am finalizing my challengers for June’s group & I have a spot saved for you! I know you were interested in joining us! What can I do to help you get all set up?”
If they still say nothing: IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON. Don’t beg. Don’t chase. Write their name down on your list with a little *note* about no response and check back with them in a few weeks.
Remember page 15 of your PD book: “Prospecting” is often defined as “looking for gold.” As you being to have conversations with potential challengers and potential coaches, you will be SIFTING through gold. It only takes a few pieces of GOLD to get you started!! Remember, you may have to talk to a lot of people to find those pieces of gold. If I told you there were THREE GOLD BRICKS in your backyard, would you commit to DIGGING in your backyard until you found them!!!??! Ummm…. YES!
So… keep digging friend!!!
